Kilian Kuhn joined our firm in 2017 and is involved in drafting patent applications, prosecution work and performing searches of prior art.
His technical expertise focuses primarily on mechanical engineering, in particular power and work machines, exhaust gas treatment, braking systems, personal protection systems, sensor devices and machine tools.
Kilian Kuhn studied pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Tübingen and completed his diploma thesis in the field of medicinal chemistry. Subsequently, he worked at the Institute of Pharmacy of the University of Regensburg and obtained his Ph.D. in the field of organic synthesis and pharmacological characterization of bioactive compounds, in particular peptides and peptidomimetics. During his studies he completed a research stay at Uppsala University, Sweden.
He is undergoing training in the field of intellectual property at Gleiss Große Schrell und Partner since 2017 and completing law studies at the University of Hagen on a part-time basis.
Kilian Kuhn is fluent in German and English.
